Courses focus on electrical and control engineering. The study program consists of four modules:

I. The fundamental lectures in the field of electrical and control engineering and more detailed lectures corresponding to the area of research;

II. Optional courses for developing of teaching skills to prepare for the performance of the academic profession and for developing social skills;

III. A fundamental introduction to modern approach to science, especially in engineering. The module also gives an insight how the scientific methods could be applied in electrical and control engineering. After the course the students should be able to carry on research projects and write a technical or scientific report;

IV. Conducting the laboratory exercises, project and similar activities for students as a practice in the department of electrical engineering or automatic control and robotics.

Career opportunities

The graduates have the knowledge and skills in the fields of electrical engineering. The graduates are qualified to work as lecturers at University of Technology. They are prepared for scientific work. They can be employed in the research and development centers, industrial laboratories, design offices other centers.
